Hey Readers (:
Today’s featured product is the Ben Nye Banana Powder!
Purchased from Camera Ready Cosmetics in San Diego!
Background Info: This loose powder has been around for quite a few years, but became more well known when Mario Dedivanovic (make-up artist) stated that he uses this powder on Kim Kardashian. It’s well known among many beauty guru’s & bloggers– so here’s to another review. But I’m ALWAYS 100% honest, so take notes:)
This is the 3 oz. packaging. The powder is very finely milled.
The powder is very light & it practically appears translucent on my skin.
The benefits for me is that it covers redness & I love using this powder to set my under eye concealer! No more creasing!
I love applying this powder with a damp beauty blender or a kabuki brush from Sedona Lace.
You truly need very little product to get the job done.
Some people can get away with using this as an all over powder, I can’t.
However, it’s perfect for highlighting the under eye area. Definitely gives you that brightening effect.
This powder will not give you a “cakey” look— I’m overall satisfied. I purchased one for my make-up kit as well 🙂And here is a picture of a make-up look where I used the Banana Powder 🙂 LOVE!
PROS: affordable, love the finish, blends great
CONS: the packaging, not too big of a fan, but i would still repurchase!
