Tarte 12 hr. Amazonian Clay Foundation- Photos & Review :)

Hey Readers 🙂
Today’s featured product is Tarte’s 12 Hour Amazonian Clay Foundation.
IMG_6396First off, I do have to say that I admire Tarte’s packaging! I love the color purple– simple, yet alluring!

IMG_6397Tarte Cosmetics are cruelty free, & that’s a must for me!
My foundation is in the shade LIGHT, however, there are 16 shades available!
There is definitely a shade made just for you!
I love going to Sephora & spending hours just swatching on my hands!
… or maybe that’s just a make-up artist thing aha:)
And voila! Here is the foundation which retails for $38 & comes with 1.7 fl oz.
This foundation does have an SPF 15!

IMG_6401Here is a swatch of the foundation in the shade LIGHT.
If you can’t tell from the photo, this foundation is definitely on the thicker side & full coverage.
It’s a long wearing foundation that is said to last 12 hours & infused with Amazonian Clay for better, longer & truer wear.

IMG_6403As for blending, you can use Tarte’s “Buffer Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush.”
I will be reviewing this brush as well on here– so look out for that review! Although I must say I love it!
However, you can also use a damp beauty blender/sponge for beautiful finish.
… Or your fingers, whatever floats your boat & works for you!

IMG_5685And here is what I look like when I’m sick with absolutely no make-up on!
And to make myself look more lively, I used:
Tarte’s 12 hr Poreless Perfecting Primer:
Tarte’s 12 hr Amazonian Clay Foundation- LIGHT
Tarte’s Maracuja Creaseless Concealer- FAIR
Tarte’s 12 hr Amazonian Clay Blush- TIPSY

IMG_5705And here is the AFTER look:) I know– a lot better, right?
Well to set things straight, I am in LOVE with Tarte Cosmetics!
Their products are LIFE-CHANGING, I have never been more satisfied!

IMG_5779 copyOverall, I was highly impressed with this foundation! I really felt like it lasted even more than 12 hours. I have combination skin type, so I don’t really get oily, but I’m not very dry– just in between. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and I really like to try products for a period of time before writing up review! This foundation will not disappoint. I wore this foundation on vacation in Canada, Michigan, & I live in California so it’s working out for my face just fine here too!

I love that I only need to apply one layer on my face, & if I need extra coverage, a second later will give even more coverage– it’s definitely a build-able foundation! Like I said before, it’s a slightly thick foundation, however, did not get cakey as it was being layered, and it’s definitely not greasy! This will work for all skin types, especially if you have oily or combination skin. It feels light on my skin, covers my imperfections, and gives a flawless finish! I have found my holy grail foundation! This foundation seriously works wonders! If you’re looking to try a new foundation, pick this one up!

PROS:  full coverage, light-weight, lasts all day!

CONS: none!:)
