Hey Readers (:
Today’s featured product are the Blending Sponges from Le Cosmetique.

IMG_6222The blending sponges come in a plastic covering to keep it nice & clean– safe from dirt & bacteria.

The blending sponges sell for $5.95 (which is very inexpensive).
Le Cosmetique carries 3 different colors: Black, pink , and red.

To activate the blending sponge to it’s capability, you must add water to dampen the sponge.
As pictured above, the red and pink sponges are the actual size before dampening with water.
The red blending sponge has been dampened with water as you can see.

I’m sure by now, you’re wondering what are some advantages of using a blending sponge, right?
As you can see, the blending sponges are pictured with a Graftobian Palette.
If you’re not familiar with Graftobian, it is a company that sells a variety of make-up, perfect for every MUA.
This palette offers 18 different shades of foundation.
The palette can also be used as concealer, or you can purchasing a correcting palette (also by graftobian).

(feel free to check out my previous review) this palette works wonders!

IMG_6227As you can see, I love my palette! And I have 3 different Graftobian Palettes.
The palette pictured above is the WARM palette, however they also sell the COOL and NEUTRAL palette.
These palettes sell for $69.50 each at Le Cosmetique (http://www.lecosmetique.com) Pro discount available!
Even though I have all 3 of them, which I purchased from The Make-Up Show in LA—
if I were to recommend the one I use in the most, I would say purchase the WARM palette.

I take a spatula (http://www.lecosmetique.com/Graftobian_Flat_Mixing_Spatula_p/mixspatula.htm) and I scrape up some product and then I put the product on a mixing palette (http://www.lecosmetique.com/Makeup_Artist_Mixing_Palette_White_p/mixpalettewhite.htm). I then dampen my blending sponge with water, I ring/squeeze out any excess water, & I see the sponge expand.

The blender eliminates any visible lines or streaks.
Just remember to slightly dampen the sponge– and dab and roll the sponge on your skin.
Blend for perfection & you’ll be able to achieve the flawless skin you’ve always dreamed of at home 🙂

Can also be purchased from Le Cosmetique for $18! Works wonders!

**Overall, the blending sponge is what really makes this look work on my model! If you have streaks on your face from the brush you used or the wedges– it takes away from the beauty of the look. Sure I added pretty shadows, liner, lashes, blush, the highlighter, and set her make-up with a spray… but if she didn’t have a pretty base, then the look wouldn’t have been flawless. I really like the blending sponge that Le Cosmetique offers because it’s inexpensive, and makes my job easier! I like the shape, with the curves because I can get in the crevices of the face. I can get under the eyes, really close to the nose– and without making my client feel uncomfortable. You can even use this sponge to apply powders and blush. I Always get a FLAWLESS application on myself and all of my clients! I definitely recommend that you give this blending sponge a try! I love all the products I featured & used for this look!

PROS: affordable, many different uses, covers imperfections & blends easily.
long lasting (I constantly sanitize & wash to be able to use on different clients)

CONS: none(:

I loved your post! I used the Graftobian creme foundation and apply it with their beauty sponge and it looks amazing The only thing I have a problem with is that it settles into my fine lines and creases I also started using Graftobian Toning Veil before applying the creme foundation Do you have any recommendations or tips on how I can improve the issue I’m having? Thank you so much!

Hi There! Thank you so much 🙂 My suggestion to you is try looking for another face primer, apply the foundation, and then set the foundation/concealer with any face powder you may have. xo
